IBM iX is participating in the Validate project, which aims to develop a functional prototype with other partners to verify the feasibility and acceptance of a clinical demission support system for the treatment of acute stroke patients in hospitals.
As part of my work at IBM iX, I supported the relaunch of the GDV website as a user experience designer. Part of my work was the revision of the information architecture, the development and specification of design components and the quality check. I was in close collaboration with the user interface design team and the development team.
The thesis examines the role of biases in machine learning and what practices to employ to reduce or prevent them. The goal was to apply strategic design methods to the development process of machine learning systems in order to increase awareness of biases and their consequences amongst developers and their teams.

Motico is a web browser that filters content based on a user’s emotions. In addition to designing and building the features, our team methodically analyzed the possible long-term effects and consequences of the product.
